    make sure your graphics driver is up to date, if you tell me what graphics card you have i can figure out the best driver for you!! this is very important as it can cause MULTIPLE lockups system-wide if you don't have a compatitble driver
    Fresh install, its all programs (even file browser), and i have a gateway desktop with intel 965 chipset built in graphics

            Yeah I have 64bit installed on my desktop running great. But I put 64bit on laptop and it seems a little off. Couple glitches. So I think I may run this version on my laptop and see if it help. Thanks for the input, I love Windows 7 myself bro!

                interesting - I installed it on my laptop and it is working with less glitches than I have ever had. Actually I havent had any bugs on it yet! Im on an Asus G1sn...

                                                    I have a 2gig HP lappy and I have Vista Ultimate dual booted with Windows 7 and it is running flawless! I know a couple people with 1gig laptops running 7 with no problems as well, it probably will work fine for you unless it's an outdated laptop then maybe not but just thought I'd share. GOOD LUCK!
