Re TP2 Hardspl CDMA Version
its not really unlocked.... its just unlocked for use with that card that you got with the phone... you would have to purchase the sim unlocker for the sprintmodel from cmonex and the elite crew and once you run that and get your code you can use usa sims like at&t, t-mobile, etc
Just trying to understand what unlocked Sim is and what its benefits are?Comment

OK Dash I know you are going to bust my chops for asking but Unlocking Sim on Sprint. But what do you mean by you can use them on other carriers? Does this mean that you when you are in there coverage area that you connect to there network instead of being on Sprint only? I also thought that Sprint connected to Verizon towers with no roaming fees or anything you wouldn't even notice you were not in Sprint coverage area.

Re: TP2 Hardspl CDMA Version!
So I guess it is like if I have AT&T, Verizon, or another network cell phone number I could use this unlocked Sprint GSM on there network? Sorry Dash for being a retard and I did do a search for SIM Cards but didnt find one with the answer I was looking for.
I have Sprint and I don't Travel outside the U.S. that often so what would be my benefits of unlocking SIM?
Thanks in Advance, INKJAMMERComment

the sim unlocker will allow you to put another carrier sim card in the phone. their would not be a real reason to sim unlock your phone, unless you take your phone to a different carrier. like $print to Verizon and run the phone in GSM only. but long term it's only a stop gap until you get a newer phone from the new carrier.Originally posted by D/\SHyou psychotk :)

no you can use with t-mobile and AT&T only if you unlcok the sim and pay the 18 dollar or so charge for it. you will also be able to use any sime from out of the country and or overseas. (comes with one anyways) gsm network has sim cards and cdma network doesnt use sims.
you would ahve no benefits of unlocking the sim unless you want to use for t-mobile or att or you want to use a differnet sim card than what comes with it when you go overseas.Comment
