Downloaded this for my gfs TP lastnight. I was amazed at how loaded this ROM comes.
Looks great as well. But when she went to text her gf just now she slide out the qwerty and the screen went black. So thats a bummer. The only way to be able to text is after sliding out the qwerty is to press all messages and select the one youwant to reply to. I will keep checkin back for bug fixes though. because its a great looking rom

thats because manila 2.5 is from the leo and the leo doesnt have a keyboard thus making it not have landscape.... if you want landscape and one that looks just like this but without twitter tab and such you will have to go with the manila 2.1 version that he made. and all 6.5.3 roms will be buggy as well too (6.5.3 has taskbar on bottom.)

The new Sprint Navigations looks great but im having a problem with it connecting to GPS, maybe its the radio, going to try it on Sprints 1.12.34

It's like we always say, "Do what you can, when you can." I am glad that it helped you out. You do more than enough around here as is. Anything to lighten the load a bit.

See a lot of people have been listing this as their number one annoyance with this newer version. It hasn't really bothered me that much and I'll tell you why. One little program. Vito SMS-Chat v1.25. It has to be one of my number one favorite PPC programs and has been since way back when I had my PPC-6700 (the mogul's predecessor). I think I may actually make use of this single program more than a comination of most of my other programs combined. It's great and it has tons of great features, looks nice, and is very finger friendly. Have her give it a try and see what she thinks of it. Here's a quick link for ya.

Now back to the ROM, other than the way it looks, I would have to say that how fully loaded with almost every program (favorites) that I instantly install on every ROM the minute I flash on there is my other big seller on this rom. But it still has its bugs here and there though,

Tried this update some time ago and was having issues with the flipping clock and with active sync. Other than that, runs pretty smooth. No real hang-ups. One thing *personal preference* when using messaging client and changing from landscape back to portrait, there is some lag.
*edit* Just noticed that when pressing home key, I get double lines at the tab tops.
Overall, nice rom.

My 2cents.

RTSG got a Sense 2.1 rom out as well. Quite nice and stable, no real hiccups so far.

Oh sweet thank you. She doesnt care for the Titanium look. Shes on Mighty right now, Its stable which is good for her. She wants something cool, but I needed it to be straight forward for her to use. Im going to give this new one a shot, and try that app out you suggested.

DASH: I assumed the Txt landscape would work, since way back you told me its only the landscape on the home screen that doesnt work (i wasnt thinking everyhome tab, just the clock tab), it works in other applications though because its built in. I figured that meant it would work for texting. But I see now you mean installed applications. And by not working on home screen you mean all the home tabs.

I'll flash her back to this and see how that goes with vito SMS

Wow im impressed. This ROM runs better then Mine lol. Text Messaging works great as is now. And it has this beautiful Glass look to it, The Icons look so bright. Like when you hold your thumb down on the bottom slider how you get icons for music setting internet ect. They really pop and look great. Hell I like this ROM better then the one im using on my TP2. The animated weather effects on the home screen look awesome as well.
I havent had a problem with it freezing but you will get a little lag now and then. Im going to have to show her how to soft reset incase it does freeze up on her though. I think this is one of the better looking roms i have seen. And comes loaded with alot of great stuff. Two thumbs up

Okay I Spoke to soon.. A few hours ago my gf handed me the phone and asked what she was supposed to do. It was on the set up screen (Touch here to align screen, tap the 4 corners) I was like omg what did you do, you wipped out the phone! Shes like I didnt do anything. It was just like this when i picked it up. I know she doesnt know how to hard reset, but I thought maybe some how she hit clear memory.
Just a moment ago I picked up the phone and sure enough, it did it again. Everything is wipped out. I guess Im not using this ROM now.

I installed this rom yesteday and it's still a little buggy when I reply to a text it's a lil slow. There are times when i try to use the onscreen keyboard it will not pop up. But it's not half bad.
