    Scott Kalitta killed in NHRA qualifying incident - RIP

    RIP brudda i used to watch this dude when he was running alcohol funny cars also... my sympathy goes to the family and friends and at least he died doing something he loved.

    wow bro when i seen this i remember watching nascar when dale sr. hit that wall and died.

      yea for sure and at 300 mph im soooo suprised he died at the hospital and not in the car.

            well you know since that crash nascar implemented the head device and few others so it wont happen again, i think it was dale jerrett or jimmie johnson last year ran into the wall and if it wasn't for that new head guard they would have been where dale sr. was.

            most probably nhra will do the same

                  wow. so sad. my condolences to the family and friends. great racer. (yes a female can ACTUALLY enjoy things like Nascar and Football lol) I'll definitely say a prayer for his family.

                      I heard that he wrecked during qualifying, but I didn't know he died. I follow drag racing. Actually going to Va when they come through and our new track in Charlotte (NC). Prayers to the family.

                        Its always sad to see someone loose there life, but feels somewhat better knowing they died doing something they truly love. My heart and prayers are with his family.
