If your gonna replace your Touch screen

    Hey all
I resently replaced the tochpad on my Sprint HTC Touch it's also called the digitizer..

Incase your in need of doing this here is a heads up...

1> you need a set of tiny torque wrenches and tiny screw drivers. now you can order a set from online I got mine from cellulardr.com but it didn't come with the right phillips head screw driver but you can bet one pretty easy at I beleive radio shack.
2> replacing the the LCD is only a few more steps (if needed) but I didn't so moving on.
3> the digitizer is got this seriously tacky glue holding it to the front casing so don't bother removing it....
Just order the frontcase and digitizer already assembled totally makes it easier and only $20 more also at cellulardr.com a must...
4> a steady hand will really help my hands shake a lot (from the crack) so I just used a pair of tweezers to slid the tiny 4 pin ribbon cable from the screen to the cuircuit board the runs the buttons and connects to the main board

so if you need to go ahead it wasn't hard at all i did it all in a half hour seriously I was surprised how easy it was..

for sure they arent bad and you can go to your local hardware store and get a t6 screwdrive and that is all that you need to get it done besides a small pocket sized phillips.... you can get out with bout 6 bucks for the t-6 (every phone uses these) and 2 bucks for the mini phillips.
