            HAHAHA, it looks way more black in the pics then in person. Its like a dark, deep blue in person.

                        Heres mine from my diamond and has anyone else did it on the diamond because most of the covers i do turn into dark colors like this one its supposed to be purple maybe its because the diamonds back cover is dark because when i seen a purple back on a pro it looked much better and sorry for the bad quality

                                looking good buddy :> if you want a lighter purple like i had on the custom one i did for jeffie2wallgreens just use royal blue the whole packet in a small solo sized cup and than stip fr 5 with water that was in the microwave for 300 minutes on high.

                                                in the future please read through the thread and watch the video your answer is in both. no you dont have to it wont stick to the lens just the battery cover itself :>
