vivo S18 to arrive on December 4, gets its design revealed

The vivo S18 is arriving “next Monday”, December 4, according to the VP of Products at the company. The new series will come with vivo’s own AI named BlueLM – blue, because of the logo’s color, and LM most likely standing for “language model”.

The executive also revealed the phone’s design – it will feature three cameras on the back with a square Aura Light, the largest for a vivo S smartphone.

The design itself does not tell us much – it says there is an “OIS portrait”, which we’ve already seen in the S17 and the V29 lineup. It means the phone will have OIS for the main camera, just like the V29 Pro we recently reviewed.





BlueLM, vivo’s AI

Rumors suggested a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset for the vivo S18, while the Pro variant should get the Dimensity 9200+ SoC. We will know more next week.
