Google is bringing a great Samsung calling feature to Android

Google has announced the ability to reply by text during phone calls.

This means you donâ€™t have to speak during a phone call.

The feature comes a year after Samsung debuted Bixby Text Call on smartphones.

Samsung announced the nifty Bixby Text Call feature roughly a a year ago, letting you type out messages to a caller and have it be read aloud to them. This way, you donâ€™t have to speak when taking a call.

Weâ€™ve since seen Apple copy this feature in iOS 17, and now Google has announced that this capability is coming to Android. The company revealed the news as part of the latest Android Feature Drop.
