OnePlus Ace 3V is the first to use Qualcomms new mid-range chipset

Yesterday, Qualcomm announced their latest mid-range chipset. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3. The company also announced that OEMs such as OnePlus would be using its chipset, and sure enough, OnePlus has managed to be the first to launch a smartphone with it in the form of the OnePlus Ace 3V.

The handset is currently only available in China, but there is a chance it could debut in other markets under a different name. As for its hardware, the OnePlus Ace 3V features a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 and will come with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM. It also comes with up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

The phone packs a dual camera setup consisting of a 50MP main shooter with OIS, and an 8MP ultra wide angle lens. It is also accompanied by a 16MP front-facing camera. The OnePlus Ace 3V comes with a 5,500mAh battery with support for SuperVOOC charging. It is not the most feature-rich phone we’ve seen, but with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3’s capabilities and support for AI, there is potential.

It is currently on sale where it is priced starting at CNY 1,999 for the base model. We’re not sure if and when OnePlus plans to release the phone in other markets. We’ll have to wait and see if they do.
