The Honor Magic V5 is officially heading to Europe. After launching in China earlier this month and more recently in Malaysia, the foldable will make its European debut in Romania on August 12.
Honor hasn’t confirmed how many variants of the Magic V5 will be available in Romania, or what colors and storage configurations will be offered. Pricing also remains under wraps for now. All of that should be revealed once the launch officially kicks off.
What we do know is that Romania won’t be the only European market getting the phone. Pre-registration pages for the Honor Magic V5 have quietly gone live in the UK and Germany, hinting that launches in those countries are not far behind. Exact dates for those markets haven’t been announced yet.
Specs-wise, the Honor Magic V5 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and runs Android 15 with MagicOS 9 layered on top. It features a 5,820mAh battery. However, the Chinese version comes with a slightly larger 6,100mAh cell and offers up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.
On the back, the phone sports a triple-camera setup with a 50MP main shooter, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 64MP periscope telephoto lens. The front includes dual 20MP selfie cameras. The outer display measures 6.43 inches, while the inner foldable screen stretches out to 7.95 inches.
More European availability details should surface soon. For now, Romanian buyers will be first in line.
