Amazon Announces Two New Colour-Enabled Kindle Models

It’s been quite some time now since the debut of Amazon’s first-ever color-enabled Kindle model, and it looks like the brand is looking to build on its existing portfolio with the launch of two new models. Enter the new 16GB Kindle Colorsoft and the Kindle Colorsoft Kids, both of which are going for less than 300 bucks.

Priced at around $250, the 16GB Kindle Colorsoft comes with pretty much all the features found on the “regular” model, which includes the color display, faster page animations and adjustable screen lighting, to name a few. Amazon also offers three months of Kindle Unlimited upon purchase.

Priced starting at around $270, the Kindle Colorsoft Kids comes with an illustrated cover, one year of Amazon Kids+, and a two-year guarantee. In addition to parental controls, Amazon has also included features such as Vocabulary Builder, Word Wise, OpenDyslexic font, and Bluetooth connectivity as well.
