According to tipster Ice Universe, Samsung plans to stick with its tried-and-tested 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP2 sensor for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. This is the same sensor used in the past three Ultra models, from the S23 to the S25. But the new twist is in the aperture. The leak claims the S26 Ultra will use an f/1.4 aperture, which is wider than the f/1.7 found on the current S25 Ultra.
That change may sound small, but it can make a big impact. A wider aperture allows more light to hit the sensor, which translates into better low-light performance.
