    Google Drive adds Google Vids integration for quick video edits

    Google Drive has been getting increasingly friendlier towards video uploads lately. Recently, Google added automatic captioning, a visual redesign, instant playback for newly-uploaded videos, time-stamped transcripts and even YouTube-like thumbnail previews to its cloud storage platform.

    The newest addition is Google Vids integration. Users of eligible Workspace domains will soon start seeing a purple Google Vids icon in the top right corner when a video is open in Drive.
