Rokid is bringing a fresh take on augmented reality to IFA 2025 with the debut of its new Rokid Glasses, a 49-gram wearable that combines AI-driven tools, a built-in camera, and sleek Micro LED displays in a design light enough to wear all day.
The company, known for blending AR and human-computer interaction, will showcase the glasses at event under the theme See Beyond Reality. Visitors will be able to try out how the glasses turn everyday interactions into something more seamless and hands-free.
A Smarter Pair of Glasses
At the heart of Rokid Glasses is a 12MP Sony camera capable of first-person photos and video, complete with HDR optimization, night vision adjustments, and electronic stabilization. A privacy indicator light makes it clear when recording is active so there are no surprises for bystanders.

On the visual side, dual monochrome green Micro LED waveguide displays deliver 480×398 resolution per eye with 1,500 nits of brightness. It’s not cinema-sized, but the displays are designed for crisp, easily readable overlays like live translations, transcription, or navigation prompts.
Integrated dual HD directional speakers and a four-microphone array with AI noise cancellation keep calls, music, and voice commands clear without the need for earbuds.
AI That Works Overtime
The glasses aren’t just about flashy visuals. Powered by the Qualcomm AR1 platform, they include real-time multilingual translation, object recognition, math solving, and even a teleprompter mode for presentations. Built-in transcription tools can turn conversations into text, while a heads-up display provides turn-by-turn navigation.
For online functions, Rokid Glasses integrate ChatGPT for contextual queries and task automation, giving them the versatility of a pocketable smart assistant. Well, one you happen to wear on your face.
Built for Daily Life
Despite the feature list, Rokid kept the hardware slim. The frame is made from a magnesium-aluminum alloy with TR90 temples, weighing just 49g. Prescription lens attachments for myopia or astigmatism snap on magnetically, making them easy to swap out when needed.
A 210mAh battery is built into the glasses themselves, backed by a portable charging case that provides up to ten recharges. The case supports fast charging, so users aren’t left staring at a dead screen for long. Durability gets a nod too, with an IPX4 water resistance rating for protection against splashes.
Connectivity is handled through Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3, keeping the device synced with phones and networks without much hassle.
Price and Availability
The Rokid Glasses are being offered first through Kickstarter at $499, with a full retail price set at $599. More details and campaign information can be found on the official Kickstarter page.
A Broader AR Push
For Rokid, the glasses reflect more than just a product launch. The company has spent over a decade developing AR platforms, computer vision, optical display systems, and its Android-based YodaOS-Master ecosystem. Its devices are already in use across more than 80 countries, and with Rokid Glasses, the brand is leaning into consumer wearables that make AR and AI feel practical instead of experimental.
At IFA, the company will highlight how its devices can slot into work, travel, and entertainment, expanding what users can do without ever pulling a phone from their pocket.
