Niantic is rolling out fresh perks for Pokémon GO Trainers with the arrival of the September GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe, running from September 2 at 10:00 a.m. to October 7 at 10:00 a.m. local time. This month’s headline addition is the Timed Incubator, a new item designed to give egg-hatching fans more mileage, literally.
How the GO Pass Works
The standard GO Pass is free and grants rewards as players collect GO Points and rank up. During the run of the September pass, Trainers can climb through levels to earn items like Stardust, XP, Candy, Poké Balls, and encounters with featured Pokémon, including Cobalion with a Tales of Transformation–themed background (and possibly shiny, for the lucky few).
Those who want to move faster and unlock extra rewards can pay $7.99 for the GO Pass Deluxe. A bundled version (GO Pass Deluxe + 10 Ranks priced at $9.99) jumps players straight to Rank 11 out of the gate. Both tiers let players retroactively collect unlocked rewards, so no progress is lost if you upgrade later.
What’s New: The Timed Incubator
At Rank 20 of the GO Pass Deluxe, Trainers can earn the new Timed Incubator. Unlike the single-use incubators everyone’s familiar with, this one offers unlimited use, but only for a limited window. It activates once claimed and remains available until October 14, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time, one week after the September pass ends. Eggs still in progress when the incubator expires will automatically shift to a single-use incubator so they can finish hatching.
Alongside the Timed Incubator, Deluxe players can claim other premium rewards such as Super Incubators, Premium Battle Passes, Incense, Lure Modules, and Candy XL.
Major Milestone Bonuses
The GO Pass continues to feature tiered milestone rewards:
- Rank 25 boosts daily Gift capacity to 40 on the free pass, or 50 with Deluxe.
- Rank 50 doubles Daily Adventure Incense duration.
- Rank 75 doubles Stardust and XP from hatching eggs.
Web Store Exclusives and Bonuses
Players upgrading through the official Pokémon GO Web Store get extra perks. The GO Pass Deluxe: September + 10 Ranks Ultra Box adds 20 Ultra Balls, multiple Max Revives and Potions, Premium Battle Passes, plus an Incubator and Super Incubator as a bonus.
Web Store purchases also earn Reward Points for September’s Reward Road, with milestones offering items like Incense, Premium Battle Passes, Lure Modules, and even more incubators.
Limited-Time Opportunity
Rewards for September’s pass must be claimed by October 9, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time, so Trainers won’t want to procrastinate. Between the Timed Incubator, exclusive web bundles, and double Reward Points for online purchases, September is shaping up to be a busy month for egg walkers and reward collectors alike.
