Huawei is doubling down on its tri-fold strategy. The company plans to debut its second-generation tri-fold smartphone, the Huawei Mate XTs, next week, and they’re not being subtle about building anticipation.

While official specs remain under wraps, leaker Digital Chat Station posted on Weibo hinting that the Mate XTs could pack Huawei’s new Kirin 9020 chipset with satellite communication support. That satellite functionality could be a real differentiator, especially for users who need connectivity in remote areas where cellular coverage gets spotty.
Samsung Stepping Into The Tri-Fold Ring
