You’ll Soon be Able to Play Xbox Games in your Car, Thanks to LG

LG’s been on a roll with its webOS platform for its TVs and smart monitors, which allows users to access different content and entertainment services from their screens. More recently, the company revealed that it’s expanding the platform for in-vehicle entertainment via its Automotive Content Platform (ACP), teaming up with Xbox and Zoom.

Announced during IAA MOBILITY 2025 in Munich, LG says that it’s bringing over support for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions, allowing passengers to play hundreds of cloud-based games via their vehicle’s infotainment screen. This new development also includes compatibility with the Zoom app, allowing users to conduct meetings and manage work while on the go, while keeping a focus on safety and minimal distraction.

LG says that the ACP already supports major streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, and YouTube, with plans to add more partners in the future. Additionally, the company is targeting to get ACP into 20 million vehicles by 2030.
