September’s turning out to be a pretty busy month for tech launches, with big events such as IFA and Apple’s yearly Apple launch grabbing headlines left and right. That being said, Chinese tech giant Xiaomi is not one to get left behind, and the company recently announced the launch of its upcoming 15T series phones.

Posting on its official social media pages, Xiaomi says that it will hold a launch event on the 24th of September for the 15T series devices, themed “Far Closer.” In case you’re not familiar with it, Xiaomi’s “T” series smartphones are slightly spec’d-down versions of its flagship handsets, and are often released months later than the mainline flagships.
Unsurprisingly, Xiaomi itself hasn’t mentioned any details on hardware or pricing, so fans will have to tune into the event to know more about the Xiaomi 15T series. In other Xiaomi news, it’s rumoured that the upcoming Xiaomi 16 flagship series will come with a secondary screen design on the rear panel, something that the company has tried before on other models.
