Honor X9d launch date confirmed

Honor is readying a new launch event for its upcoming Honor X9d. The device is set to launch on Wednesday, September 24, in Malaysia at 3PM local time (7AM UTC), and Honor shared some images and key specs ahead of the launch.

X9d features a similar design to the Honor X70 which launched in China back in July. Like the X70, the upcoming X9d also boasts an IP69K water and dust resistance and a massive 8,300mAh Silicon-carbon (Si/C) battery. Honor is also advertising improved durability with a shock-absorbing frame just like on the X70.
