well this name starts immediately for all phones and devices that have at least wm 6.0 installed if thats what you mean.... or you talkinga bout the release date for wm7? if so its going to be around middle of 2010 from what i hear.

I just dont understand why they picked the name windows phone was it something to do with iPhone?? they think the name is what sells it? if so why not call it winPhone OS or something Windows Phone just sounds so lame. Name it like Windows ToGo or something creative...

Oh, so i'm already running windows phone on my device. wow, it kind of seems the same as windows mobile....actually it seems exactly identical to windows mobile. maybe my first thought was correct. they're changing the name instead of changing the product for the better : (

Oh, so i'm already running windows phone on my device. wow, it kind of seems the same as windows mobile....actually it seems exactly identical to windows mobile. maybe my first thought was correct. they're changing the name instead of changing the product for the better : (

naw they are going for the more finger friendly look in 6.5 and 7 thus the change of the name since everything is more touch friendly with your finger these days.... would love to not have to worry about stylus' all the time.

yeah MS did a smart move to change the name windows phone hope it works so we can keep doing what we do on our phones. and no more stylus wich I dont even use just pull it out because its there, thatl make new comers happy so they can actually use more of the touch feature on the phone.
