Re Verizons Going to Have to Answer to the FCC (and Customers

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) sent a letter to Verizon demanding answers about why it increased early termination fees for smart phone users as well as whether customers are charged for inadvertently accessing Verizon's Internet services.
I'd not have a problem with the ETF being different for every phone sold. It certainly shouldn't be the same for a bottom tier LG as it is for the Droid!!!! As for accidentally accessing the network for opening up the web-browser... been there, done that. On a lot of phones, all you have to do is hit the wrong number on the keypad & you're accessing data.
That should be fixed, and no one should be charged for it.

It's just like the banks. Suntrust has a "policy" where they take drafts prior to deposits. Which means if you have $500.00 in withdrawals and you only have $100.00 on the account and you notice that fact, and rush to the bank to deposit the funds, Suntrust will "hold" the deposit until all the drafts have cleared. Yea it's efed up and that's one of the reasons i don't bank with them anymore.

damn that is messed up and i dont think that this is going to make it through and i feel it will go back to normal especially since no other provider is jumping alongside them to do this as well. i guess me and the other verizon users will have to just sit here and see what they do...
