Re Acer Releases its First Android Smartphone

The phone doesn't look that special, but the idea that Acer is stepping into the smartphone market is good news. The more competition the better, and Acer is a great company. I think of them like Hyundai. When they first got here, they were horrid. But now, they're top-notch.
It'll also be interesting to see how a company that is coming from larger devices handles smartphone development versus companies coming from traditionally smaller devices (I'm thinking Nokia, LG & the like, here.)
