hey so i called the sprint retentions department and i told them about all the problems ive had with my mogul, so they agreed to send me a touch pro for $250 plus a $100 rebate so $150, with a new contract. i was planning on staying with sprint anyways, but i didnt realize that they were renewing my contract until after i hung up when i thought about the $18 charge they told me i would also recieve. should i have tried harder to get it as a straight replacement for my mogul? should i call back and explain how they did not tell me that my contract was going to be renewed (thats what the activation fee is for right?)? and should i call back and try harder although they already put in the order and i had them charge the credit card which theyve probably already done?
i dont know, after reading all of the success stories on spj i feel like i should have done a better job getting them to give me the touch pro without having to pay/renew my contract.
