[NEWS] Acers F1 to be Forumula 1 Windows Phone with Speedy Snapdragon 65 On Boa

Acer's getting ready for its October launch of the Acer F1, a name borrowed straight from Forumla One racing, complete with a speedy Snapdragon processor and Windows Mobile 6.5 on board. Online retailer, or e-tailer, Clove, has blogged about the phone as coming soon, stating that the Acer Windows Phone is due to begin shipping from the 6th October and that the Acer F1 is the most superior Windows Mobile 6.5 (Windows Phone) device that will be available upon launch.

The phone will come with a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, the same one that we've been lusting after in the HTC PRO.Three, but of course we're also eyeing other things on the competing HTC handset, including that gorgeous capacitive touchscreen that the former doesn't seem to have.

Here's the rundown of the F1 according to WMPowerUser:

-Windows Mobile 6.5 with Internet Explorer 6
-3.8” WVGA Touchscreen Display
-Quad-band GSM / Tri-band HSPA
-512MB ROM / 256MB RAM

-WiFi 802.11 b/g & Bluetooth 2.1
-Quad-band GSM/EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900
-HSPA 900, 1900, 2100 (download 7.2 Mbps / upload 5.76 Mbps)
-Motion Accelerometer
-Ambient Light Sensor
-Proximity Sensor
-3.5mm audio jack
-118.6 x 63 x 12mm
-Social Networking: Facebook, Flickr & Blogger, Cloud Sync

Now, the hard choice is whether to get the F1 on 10/6 or wait to get the PRO.Three whenever that may launch and hope that it will come to the US?

yeah if you look at tp2 116 X 59.2 X 16.65 mm the f1 is pretty big but it will competed agains pro tree and that one looks even bigger and now keyboard just whant the inside of this place in my tp2 hahaha

yeah if you look at tp2 116 x 59.2 x 16.65 mm the f1 is pretty big but it will competed agains pro tree and that one looks even bigger and now keyboard just whant the inside of this place in my tp2 hahaha
