DOOOH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^#@$&)(#%#$ I installed PhoneMax Phone Alarm, The new one CYBER posted. I ddont know if maybe it wasnt meant for WVGA or you arent supposed to put it over SPB SHell. Either way it trashed my phone. I started getting Shell.exe errors, My phone would freeze seconds after boot. I manged to get in settings but it sat there for 20min trying to remove Phone Alarm. It just kept spinning. I couldnt Remove SPB I couldnt even exit it or enter the TOday Screen to turn it off. I would get more errors.

Sooooooo After 2 weeks of trying to pick a ROM i figured screw it. I was waiting for a stable all in one ROM. No adding extra cabs or doing reg edits but WOW!!!!!!!

Just Flashed WAR... Ooooooooooooooooo sooooo PRETTY!!! I just have one Question. Actually two maybe.
It seems everything is working just fine. I thought I read somewhere you have to install Provisioning Cab for your carrier. Guess that was for one specific ROM

But the most important Question. How do I get that bad ass Animation on the home screen. It says Altamonte for location. It has a Moon. And I managed to see this Halo of light come out from behind the moon. How do i get it to do that more often? Like a constant animation.
Or at least how do I even see the animation period? I saw it once. I cant get it to do it again.

And animated Wall papers!!! NICE!!! I dont care for the 3 that they have. But that is awesome!! Is there anywhere to find more animated wall papers? I didnt even know there was such a thing till now. I feel like such a noob

Oh damn, I was messing around and un the System folder I see Carrier Provision.
But texting, internet and phone all work. So Do I not even need to do that? I thought nothing would work till you used to Provision file

OMG dude. decaf. LOL. anyway after a flash as soon as the phone resets and vibrates unplug it and take out the battery. wait about 10 seconds put it back in and hold down answer and hangup buttons with one hand and press and hold power with the other. press volume up to reset the phone and volume up to confirm. after the phone resets, goto start/system/carrier provision and select your carrier. i assume $print? then change the registry entry like above, and run the two carrier cabs to get mms to work.

to get Altamonte to show on the home screen you need to set Altamonte as your city. tap the clock and add Altamonte then select it as your home city. you will need to add it to the weather tab as well.

you have to select weather animation from the home screen tap menu/ homewallpaper weather animation. sometimes the phone will lag a little when you use weather anaimation, remember sense ui was designed to run on a phone with a 1GHZ processor.

How's everyone liking the new War update? Is it running smooth or any major bugs, etc.. I'm itching for it but not sure I had a lot of problems with NRG Rom 2.5 but this is landscape as well so I want to flash not sure if I should wait... second opinion?

i've been running the latest update for about 10 hours. no issues so far. very minor lag, but doesn't all ROMs have lag? it has the smoothest transitions without lag. smooth and snappy. it is running faster than any of the juicy roms.

thank you very much kind sir.. and yes all roms have some lag even stock roms do so that's ot a huge deal unless I'm having to reset 7 times a day because of it then I get a lil aggravated which is what i had to do on NRG it would just freeze right in the middle of shit to man it would piss me off, lol... I'm on silence 2.1 now which is stable nd fast, but I really got used to havuing the 2.5 look and you can't compare it to anything else it is just very nice to have...when it works... well thanks I'm gonna flash it and at worst I can always go back if needed...

don't forget to change the sms folder in the registry to sms.htc first and soft reset.
goto. hklm/system/inbox/externalaccount/sms and change sms to SMS.htc

i attached the sprint mms fix for you to this post. you will need to run this AFTER you have ran the carrier provisioning file in the rom.

here is the arcsoft cab to install after the sprint fix.

I have searched and there is a whole bunch of arcsoft cabs but this one is for 2.5 and I think all the others are 2.1 so I'm not trying anything funny, will wait for this one so I know for sure!

LMAO! No man it was 5am when I flashed. I should of been asleep. But because of phone alarm my phone was garbage and i couldnt watch any movies on it so I couldnt sleep. So I ended up flashing while i was over tired. And this is my first flash on the TP2. SO seeing sense UI for the first time and plus being over;y tired which makes me goofy, resulted in that post lol.

I Always pull battery for 30 seconds, and always always hard reset.
BUt thank you for answering the CARRIER CAB question. I assumed I would have to do either a REG edit or use another method to gget MMS to work. I had no idea It was as simple as running the provsioning CAB.

SO really this is the ROM i have always been looking for. It works flawless, The Provision CAB fixes the MMS, and the Remove HTC MEssaging fixes the 5 Second LAG for Texting., The only two problems the ROM has are a simple fix.

I found out how to actually force the Weather Animation. On the home screen simply tap the top right Task bar to see whats running, and then tap to CLose and it will Animate the screen, or tap Start on the top left and then Tap TOday to go back and it will animate again. I never had any lag with it once i figured that out. I actually dont have any issues with lag at all really. Viewing pics and switching to landscape. BUt thats a pretty heavy animation on the processor when you turn the phone sideways so Im sure thats in all of these ROMS.

WHATS Up with the Animated WALLPAPERS? Does Anyone know if there are packs of these we can download somewhere that will work on the TP2 to add more thwn just the Three that come with it

if not mistaking if you look in the other tp2 mightyrom thread with manial 2.1 it has a FAQ with that cab posted for you

Yeah every time i go to it from my phone or my pc it gives error and say some bs about servers.. But MM just realeased another update and I'm sure soon will be yet anohter so I'm gonna just wait a few more days...( i think..) and just stay on silence 2.1 for now. It is really good and fast.. but 2.1 isnt my preferred choice of the 2. I'm gonna keep my eye on these updates and go from there.. thanks
